Vanuatu Earthquake | Children in Need

op Australian Committee For UNICEF Limited

Help families of the Pacific Island nation of Vanuatu, begin the painful and difficult task of rebuilding their lives after back-to-back earthquakes at 7.3 magnitude.

Tragically, 14 people lost their lives, and at least 80,000 people are affected, with over 40,000 children in need of humanitarian support. Many homes, buildings and vital infrastructure have been severely damaged or destroyed, leaving many families, who are still recovering from the twin cyclones of 2023, in desperate need.

Together with our partners, UNICEF remains on the ground delivering immediate lifesaving support to children and their families, while preparing to help with rebuilding communities.

UNICEF is completely reliant on donations from supporters and yet, has helped save more lives than any other humanitarian organisation in the world. By becoming a regular donor today, you’ll help provide long-term, life-changing support to children in Vanuatu as they recover and rebuild.

Should we receive more funds than is needed for this emergency, your gift will support UNICEF's work where the need is greatest.
