For three years, war has ravaged Ukraine, leaving destruction, fear, and unimaginable suffering in its wake. Children are the most vulnerable, with child killings and injuries rising by 57% in the past year alone. No child is safe.
UNICEF remains on the frontlines, providing critical lifesaving support to children across Ukraine. However, the situation is worsening with each passing day, and we urgently need your help to scale up our efforts and reach even more children in need.
• 1 in 5 children have lost a close relative or friend, causing severe psychological trauma.
• Children on the frontline have endured up to seven months of their lives sheltering underground
• 3.6 million people remain displaced within Ukraine
• Over 1,600 schools and 786 health facilities have been destroyed, leaving children without the basic services they need.
• Critical infrastructure like energy and water networks are under constant attack, preventing children from meeting their most basic needs.
• Vulnerable children—those with disabilities, without parental care, or separated—remain at heightened risk.
How you can help through UNICEF:
• $10 provides 2,000 water purification tablets, ensuring safe drinking water.
• $21provides 1 education pack, allowing children to continue schooling.
• $196 can help provide four emergency aid kits, which could help treat a range of injuries
• $340 could help supply enough learning materials for 40 students to continue their education.
Reoccurring payments will ensure UNICEF is able to continue to provide ongoing lifesaving support and rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and their families.
Please donate today to help children in Ukraine.
